- Yes. The free test needs no sign-up at all. A free account, with no credit card, saves your result and your weakness map and gives you up to 20 practice questions a day on all six Essentials strategies. Pro unlocks every strategy, all five difficulty levels, the daily drill, your score and check-rides.
- How many questions do you have?
- We have 693 question types across 21 strategies and 5 difficulty levels, each built fresh from a new market scenario. That's more than 100 million possible scenarios, so you'll practically never see the same question twice.
- Do I need an account for the free test?
- No. Take the ten questions and see your score, your biggest gap and your weakness map, all without signing up. Your result stays in this browser for 24 hours. - I've traded options for years. Will this teach me anything?
- Take the test and find out. Years of trading and knowing your Greeks aren't the same thing.
- How long does it take?
- The free test takes about five minutes. After that, train as much or as little as you like. When you're ready, take a check-ride: the timed exam that earns a certificate.
- Is this financial advice?
- No. Own the Greeks is education and practice. We don't recommend trades or tell you what to buy or sell.
- What is Black–Scholes?

- How does my score work?
- Everyone starts at 1,350, the score of someone who gets about 7 in 10 right on Level 1 questions. Every scored answer moves your score: a right answer earns more the harder the question is, and a wrong answer costs less. Your first answers move it more than later ones. After 15 answers it settles, and you get your rank. Our questions are new, and each one's difficulty is still being measured from members' answers. Until then the system leans in your favour, so 7 in 10 may nudge your score up a little.
- Who will charge my card, and where is my receipt?
- Link, Stripe's payment service, sells Pro for us and takes the payment. Your card statement shows the charge as "LINK.COM* OWN THE GREE", and your receipt comes by email from Link. For anything about your membership or a refund, write to [email protected].
- Can I get my money back?
- Yes. If Pro isn't right for you, ask within 30 days of your first Pro payment and we'll refund it in full, monthly or annual. Email [email protected] from your account's address. The refund goes back to your card through Link, and your account moves to the free plan. The guarantee is once per person; Terms, section 6, has the details.
